ABOUT ME
Hi there! I’m Amanda Carmichael Hudeck, and for the past 10 years, I’ve been proud to call the University of Michigan home. I earned my bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and History from Saginaw Valley State University. Throughout my journey at U-M, I’ve had the pleasure of contributing to Information & Technology Services (ITS), the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (ODEI), the Center for Educational Outreach (CEO) office, the Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Program, and previously with the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CRLT).
Currently, I serve as the graphic designer for the Division of Public Safety and Security (DPSS), where I bring my expertise in graphic design to create compelling materials that support the mission of promoting safety and security across campus.
I approach my work with a collaborative spirit, bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to every project. Most importantly, accessibility is at the heart of what I do every day. My goal is to create designs that as many people can engage with as possible. To achieve this, I practice the art of universal design. My dedication to hard work and belief in the power of inclusive design drives me every day.
